FILE UNDER BIG WHOOP: Does anybody really care? God, this guy has to be one of the most self-involved folks of all time. Go get a job, for God's sake.

That's not fair at all, Scott. When it comes to the music industry, there is a HUGE market for whining and crying right now.

I don't fault any of them, and isn't being a "rock star" their job anyway? Whether you think this is lame or not probably depends on whether you liked his music back in the early '90s. I can't say I'm that jazzed about a Smashing Pumpkins reunion either, but I feel much different about the Pixies and Dinosaur Jr reunions. J Mascis and Black Francis are probably every bit as self involved as Corgan, but if enough people really want to see the bands, the market will be there. I don't see the same level of hype for the Smashing Pumpkins reunion so I wouldn't be surprised if the reunion fizzles, but who knows...I was surprised how fast Gang of Four shows were selling out. This has been the year of the reunion so weirder things could happen.
