GO CUBS GO: I'm pretty excited my Cubs are in the playoffs. Still, I think I better take it down a notch.
I'm staying at a smallish lodge in the middle of nowhere, and after Big Z just struck out Tony Clark to end the first inning I heard myself yell, "Now go sit down, fucker!"
It was involuntary, and it was loud.
I'm fearful of what might happen in a close game, late. It's already 10:25PM here.

I lasted til the bottom of the 8th. Pretty good for me. They took Zambrano out after only 85 pitches and then Marmol gave up the home run...go figure...but I'll be back tonight! Cub fans go down hard! D.
please get another post up quickly. i'm tired of seeing 'cubs excitement' on your blog. i can't even stand seeing the big z out promoting his book, news posts on cubs.com or anything. they should all go into hiding until spring training unless/until cuban buys the cubs.
