WHY TWO-YEAR-OLDS WOULD MAKE BAD SPIES: Here's what I just heard from downstairs:

(bath sounds)
C.J.: "No, Mikey!"
(crash)
C.J. (devastated): "Waaaaaaahhh!"
Eileen (rushing in): "What happened?"
C.J. (through tears): "Mikey hurt me. He threw that at my head!"
Eileen: "Mikey, did you throw that at C.J.'s head?"
Mikey (delighted): "Yeah!"

Sarah and I liken the kids upstairs to Itchy and Scratchy. They pound the crap out of each other with an alarming level of glee.

Yep. Ours are either best friends or mortal enemies.

Try to figure out when they get so smart that they stop "fessing up" to what they have actually done and start denying it. I guess it comes when they are able to associate the deed with what comes after it if they actually admit to it.

Oh, yeah, C.J. is an able liar. Mikey is pure innocence.
