Regardless of whether I'm in L.A. for a week or Minneapolis for a night, the schedule's always the same: work, have a meeting, work, have a meeting, eat, work, have a meeting. In two and a half years, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been able to work out, relax, etc. For the most part, we're expected to remain in lockstep with the office when we're on the road. Plus, half the time when I'm traveling I'm doing focus groups until 10PM and then often flying somewhere new on a 7 or 8AM flight.
